Congratulations to Joel and the team that worked on the Monticello Bridge project. The bridge was awarded the Kansas City Metro Chapter of American Public Works Association 2008 Project of the Year local award in the Transportation category $5 Million, but less than $25 Million division. Photos and more info after the break.
Monticello Bridge is in Lenexa, just outside the entrance to Black Hoof Park and the Lake Lenexa Dam and Spillway, both of which are Gastinger Walker Harden Architects. Here are a couple of photos of the bridge.
