I know this applies to those of us who live in Olathe, but  this also applies to anyone who has their curbside or community recycling done by Deffenbaugh.

Instead of being able to recycle only #1 and #2, Deffenbaugh can now recycle “rigid household plastic containers #1 through #7 used only for food and household items”.

Things that are still not accepted include:

• Motor oil bottles
• Pesticide bottles
• Miscellaneous automotive product bottles
• Plastic bags
• Plastic toys
• PVC Pipe
• Plastic sheet material
• Expanded #6 polystyrene material
