• DSC is the first co-housing project in Kansas. The housing units and common house are clustered and linked by pedestrian walkways with parking located on the periphery. Placement of units on the property has allowed much of the native vegetation to remain.
• Units are oriented for optimum natural sunlight while wide overhangs limit solar heat in the summer. Construction of units maximize energy efficiency with use of building wraps, low-e windows and structural insulated panels. The highly efficient HVAC and water systems keep utility bills low and preserve natural resources.
