• The building demonstrates in form and materials how to maximize energy efficiency and minimize the impact on the environment. A gentle curving roof overhang offers views and a welcoming entrance, allows winter sun to warm the building, and acts as a barrier to the summer sun. Insulated panels blended with the exposed wood structure demonstrate how nature and industry coexist.
• Sustainable design features provided 47% energy savings over a normal builing its size.
